Chestnut leaf roller moth
Chestnut leaf roller ( Pammene fasciana), one of the micro-moths of the family Torticidae, with a wingspan up to 17 millimetres. The flight period is June to July with a single brood each year. This species is found throughout most of Europe except the Iberian peninsular. The larvae feed internally in acorns and the nuts of the sweet chestnut.
