Tokyo, Japan - Shunichi Tanaka, Chairman of Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) speaks about the situation of the TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi after re-evaluated the previous INES provisional rating on the contaminated water leakage from a water tank which was detected on August 20, at The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan, September 2, 2013. The Nuclear Regulation Authority raised the International Nuclear Event Scale (INES) level from 1 to 3 after received an additional report from TEPCO and the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA's viewpoints from Level 1 to Level 3 when it was revealed around 300 tons of contaminated water has leaked out of one storage tank.
