Amazon's new base in Odawara Largest distribution center in Japan
On September 3, 2013, major Internet retailer Amazon Japan began full-scale operations at its new distribution center, Amazon Odawara FC (Fulfillment Center), in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It will be the company's largest base in Japan, with a total floor space of approximately 200,000 square meters, and is expected to create approximately 1,000 jobs.
