Angiosarcoma, light micrograph. Primary sarcomas of the heart are exceedingly rare. Angiosarcoma of the heart makes up almost 40% of all cardiac sarcomas. It is an aggressive malignant (cancerous) neoplasm that shows vascular or lymphatic endothelial differentiation.
