November 25, 2013, Ishinomaki, Japan - Only the time has passed and nothing much has changed in Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture, two years and eight months after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that have wreaked havoc over a wide swath of Pacific seaboard in northeastern Japan. The city, located some 341 km northeast of Tokyo, was among the most seriously affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Approximately 46% of the city was inundated by the tsunami.
