Protest in Seoul against Japan to release treated radioactive water from Fukushima plant
Protest against Japanese government, Aug 23, 2023 : Kang Sung-Hee (C), a lawmaker of the minor progressive Jinbo Party and activists from civic groups participate in a protest to denounce Japan's decision to discharge nuclear-contaminated water from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean, in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, South Korea. Pickets read, "South Koreans desperately oppose to Japan's release of nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean!"
