South Koreans protest Japan's release of radioactive water and demand resignation of South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol at a rally in Seoul
Protest against Japan and Yoon Suk-Yeol, Sep 9, 2023 : People attend a rally to protest Japan's release of radioactive water from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant and to demand resignation of South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol in Seoul, South Korea. Thousands of people at the rally insisted Yoon strings along with Japan's release of radioactive water. Japan began discharging the radioactive water into the ocean on August 24, which has been stored at the nuclear power plant since three nuclear reactors melted down in the wake of an earthquake in March 2011, according to news reports.
