SoftBank Interim Results Ranked first among the three cell phone companies
On September 31, SoftBank announced its consolidated financial results for the first half of September 2013. Sales, operating profit, and final profit reached record highs, surpassing NTT DoCoMo and KDDI (au) and ranking first among the three major cell phone companies. The CEO of Supercell, a Finnish game apps production company that the company announced the acquisition of, also attended the press conference, and stated that the company would further focus on its game business.
