Choo Mi-Ae, Sep 23, 2023 : South Korea's former Justice Minister Choo Mi-Ae speaks at a candlelight vigil demanding South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol to step down in Seoul, South Korea. Thousands of people participated in the rally and they insisted President Yoon strings along with Japan unrequitedly including the issue of Japan's release of radioactive water from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean. Protesters asserted that President Yoon is incompetent in national economy, defense and diplomacy and demanded Yoon to stop oppression on Lee Jae-Myung, chair of the main opposition Democratic Party. Participants also asked to organize a special prosecution to investigate Kim Keon-Hee, wife of President Yoon, who they insist, manipulates state affairs. (Photo by Lee Jae-Won/AFLO)
