At top centre is the urinary bladder (2), which stores urine before it is expelled from the body via the urethra (9), which runs along centre of the penis. Below the bladder is the prostate gland (8), which produces a fluid that forms part of the semen, and sits around the urethra. At right is the rectum (6), with the anus (14) at bottom right.
