Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, South Korea
Gamcheon Culture Village, Nov 9, 2023 : Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, about 420 km (261 miles) southeast of Seoul, South Korea. Tourists call the location the "Santorini of Korea" and it is a tourist attraction. The village was an area which was once home to war refugees during the 1950-53 Korean War. South Korea is seeking to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan as it is competing against Saudi Arabia and Italy. The host city will be announced on November 28. (Photo by Lee Jae-Won/AFLO)
