Ground spider
A genus of ground spiders (Drassodes) consisting of over a 160 species and is a member of the Gnaphosidae family. A fierce nocturnal hunter usually found under stones and leaf litter spending the day in its silken retreat. This genus is found throughout the Palearctic ecozone.
