The Ebara (Yowara) area is one of the settlements formed in a depression called "Ubare" and is located almost in the center of West Akiyoshidai, at the bottom of Ubare. In Akiyoshidai, the limestone that makes up the ground is dissolved by rainwater and groundwater, creating depressions of various sizes in the ground. Ubare is a large depression (doline), which is a unique feature of limestone plateaus (karst plateaus). Because the Ebara area is surrounded by mountains and is not visible to the public, there are historical documents that show that fallen warriors who were defeated in the Osaka Summer Battle fled and settled here.
