Upper Isuzu River Wild deer in fallow fields
There is a fallow rice field with thick vegetation in a corner of a jingu forest upstream of the Isuzu River, which is a favorite feeding ground and resting place for wild deer. It was not far from houses in the mountain village, and several charcoal-making kettles were in operation, so life coexisted favorably with people. Now it is a green and lush July, the 24th day of the year, Shogatsu.
