Bonsai Cherry Blossoms in the Evening
Kami City in Kochi Prefecture is the birthplace of Yanase Takashi, the well-known Anpanman cartoonist, and is particularly famous for its Anpanman Museum. On a hill in that town, there is a terraced rice field with a single cherry tree planted in it, a cherry tree that is visited by photography enthusiasts as "Arase no Bonsai-zakura" (Arase's Bonsai Cherry Tree) because of the atmosphere seen from a distance.
