Tokyo Metropolitan Government Closes Yoyogi Park due to the spread of dengue fever
September 5, 2014, Tokyo, Japan - The gate to Yoyogi Park, one of Tokyo's largest and most popular commons, is closed to visitors to prevent people from being infected with the Dengue virus on Friday, September 5, 2014. While the number of confirmed sufferers has risen to nearly 50, the City Hall cordoned off most of the park located right in the heart of the metropolis to contain the first outbreak of the fever in the city in nearly 70 years.
