June, 1989, Tokyo, Japan - A Takara staff hugs a giant Dakkochan as she shows the black inflated vinyl doll to the media. Manufactured first as a baby's plaything in 1960, the huggy baby winky doll soon became the hottest craze to hit Japan since the Hula Hoop.
