December 2, 2014, Tokyo, Japan - A row of low-lying buildings lines up on the outside of Kiyosumi Gardens in Kiyosumi, a downtown Tokyo neighborhood located on the east bank of Sumida River. Built in 1928 as part of a reconstruction project after the Great Kanto Earthquake, five blocks of steel reinforced concrete buildings are nestled in a group of six for approximately 200 meters along the Kiyosumi-dori.
