Takashi Uemura Holds Press Conference Questions Concentrated on the Comfort Women Issue
January 9, 2015, Tokyo, Japan - Takashi Uemura, a former reporter of the leading Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun, points to a copy of the weekly magazine's report alleging that he fabricated "comfort women" stories during a news conference at Tokyo's Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan on Friday, January 9, 2015 Uemura scooped the testimony of a former "comfort woman" in 1991 and fabricated further that the "comfort women" had been abducted as part of women volunteer corps.
