The Prince flew in to Tokyo International Airport on Thursday afternoon and then traveled to Tokyo city on a cruise boat to visit the historic Hama Rikyu gardens and a traditional Japanese tea house. He arrived on a rainy day but nevertheless Japanese TV crews were out to try to catch a glimpse of the Prince as his boat entered Tokyo Harbour and passed under the Rainbow Bridge. On his visit he will launch an Innovation is Great campaign and also travel to Ishinomaki in Miyagi Prefecture to meet people who were affected by the Great Eastern Earthquake and tsunami.
