Aiko Horizon" at Mitsukoshi as a receptionist Toshiba's humanoid robot
Robot Aiko Chihira debuts as a receptionist at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi department store on April 20, 2015, Tokyo, Japan. The robot is being employed for two days to share information with customers about store events and the food court, on April 20th and 21st. From April 22nd the robot will be on show at a "Play the future with Toshiba" exhibition held in the store showing how new technology may change future life-style and future department stores.
