Tokyo Rainbow Pride Call for understanding of diverse sexuality
Colorfully dressed participants join the Rainbow Pride parade in Shibuya, Tokyo on Sunday April 26, 2015. An estimated 3000 people paraded through the streets of Shibuya on Sunday celebrating a recent increase in recognition of LGTB rights in Japan. The event was organised across two days for the first time, and came after a move earlier this year where Shibuya Ward declared that people in same-sex partnerships should have many of the same rights as married couples.
