Yoshinori Shirakawa Yoshinori Shirakawa 1868-1932 Birthplace: Ehime Prefecture Army General, Baronet After serving as Commander of the Kanto Army, he became Minister of War in 1928. He denied the Army's involvement in the Chang Sak-gun Incident and forced the resignation of the Tanaka Yoshikazu Cabinet. As commander of the Shanghai Dispatched Forces (1932), he attended the Tien Chang Jie celebration in Shanghai, where he was bombed (April 29, 1932), and died of his wounds on May 26 of the same year.
