December 28, 2005, Tokyo, Japan - The narrow streets of Ammeyoko get fully packed with thousands of shoppers seeking out ingredients for the year-end holiday season. Ameyoko is a busy market streets where more than 500 small retailers, crammed into the narrow spaces under and on both sides of the elevated railroad tracks stretching some 500 meters from Ueno station, sell a wide-ranging products, including fresh fish, meat, dried goods, clothes, footwear, cosmetics, precious metals, sporting and imported goods.
