In Kumamoto Prefectural Assembly District 1 fixed number 12, Akemi Matsuno, 46, a former marathon runner, was elected for the first time as the top runner after moving from the Kumamoto City Council. She said, I have finally made it to the start of a full marathon. I will do my best as a prefectural assembly member, she said joyfully.
