Uchimizu Event in Akihabara 30 maids and others participated
A maid cafe waitress sprinkles water during the ''Uchimizukko Big Gathering Festival'' in Akihabara electric district of Tokyo, Japan on August 23, 2015. About 21 groups from Akihabara including maid cafes' waitresses and cosplayers attended the event, which included for the first time an official mascot character ''2C Chan.'' This year is the 12th anniversary of the event which began as a way to reduce dust and cool pavements in the Akihabara area. Uchimizukko is a Japanese summer tradition.
