Major National Day Holiday Begins Chinese tourists continue to arrive
Chinese shoppers in the Ginza high-end shopping district, on October 2nd 2015, Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo's department stores are busy serving Chinese holiday shoppers with many now offering Chinese speaking staff, simple tax-free shopping and product sections specifically targeting overseas visitors. Cosmetics are particularly popular items and the shoppers tend to purchase products in bulk to take home as presents for friends and relatives.
