October 13, 2015, Tokyo, Japan - Hatchobori, an old neighborhood located in the wide north-to-south stretch on the western bank of Sumida River, has a chaotic mixture of old and new Tokyo the way small buildings and town houses were built and arranged. The name Hatchobori came from the 873-meter canal excavated for waterborne transportation of supplies to and from Nihonbashi commercial district during the Edo era.
