Sailor Fountain Pens Furor erupts over president's dismissal

The Sailor Pen Co., Ltd's president Yoshio Nakajima (73) was dismissed after the company's board members voted unanimously to replace him with director Yaushi Hisa (63) during a meeting held last Saturday. According to the company the decision was taken because Nakajima had failed to fully devote his efforts to work, but Nakajima disputes this and claims that the dismissal is not legally valid.
