Tokyo Marathon Foundation Conducted Anti-Terrorism Training
Tokyo Marathon 2016 holds a security seminar at Tokyo Big Sight on on January 17, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan. The seminar addressed security risks for Japan's largest marathon and was attended by representatives from the Metropolitan Police Department and Tokyo Fire Department, and tournament officials and management staff. Organisers are concerned by the prospect of drone attacks and participants were instructed in detection and counter-measures. 37,000 runners will participate in this year's race on February 28th which is the 10th edition of the event.
