Hon Hai Signs Acquisition Agreement with Sharp Signing Ceremony in Sakai, Osaka
Sharp Corporation, which is currently undergoing a management restructuring, and Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry signed a contract on April 2 for Hon Hai to acquire Sharp. Sharp is the first Japanese electronics giant to become a subsidiary of a foreign company.
