2016 New Words and Buzzwords of the Year

The Japanese buzzword of the year, kamitteru (Top), or superhuman behavior, on display during the ''Ryukogo Taisho 2016'' or The Vogue Word Awards 2016 ceremony in Tokyo, Japan on December 1, 2016. The Ryukogo Taisho prize is awarded for the most popular vogue words or buzzwords from the year that were commonly used among the Japanese public.
