Aldrin & Armstrong planting US flag on moon

Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong (left) and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (right) plant the flag of the United States on the surface of the Moon. Armstrong and Aldrin performed the first manned lunar landing on 20 July, 1969. The photograph was taken by the 16mm data acquisition camera, mounted in the lunar module.
