Hankyu Pitcher Yamada, the record-breaking submarine, 1988
Professional Baseball. Hankyu pitcher Hisashi Yamada will celebrate his 40th birthday on the 29th of this month. He is only 19 away from becoming the first pitcher to win 300 games and the seventh pitcher in history to do so. He has been seen every day running along the outfield fence, staying until the end of the pre-game practice. The veteran pitcher is still challenging for the record at the age of 40.
