On October 10 of the same year, Atsuko married the eldest son of the Ikeda family, a former noble (marquis) family of the Bizen Okayama feudal lord, Ikeda Ranch owner, and they were preparing to open a zoo, which had been her husband's dream, next spring as a limited company called "Ikeda Industrial Zoo" (which later became "Ikeda Industrial Zoo and Botanical Garden" and then "Ikeda Zoo"). Atsuko Ikeda, who was Atsuko Junmiya, the fourth daughter of Princess Junmiya in the second month of her marriage, taking care of the birds.
