Sarin gas attack on the subway (March 20, 1995)
Tokyo Fire Department paramedics treat a passenger with sarin gas poisoning who collapsed on the ground near the Tsukiji Honganji-mae intersection on Shin-Ohashi-dori Avenue, near Tsukiji Station, where the Hibiya Line subway train that was sprayed with sarin gas by Aum Shinrikyo followers was stopped. Several temporary "on-site first-aid stations" were set up by the Tokyo Fire Department, and a large number of ambulances and fire engines, including a large special ambulance "Super Ambulance" (right), were dispatched.
