Mid-year sales season starts New tax benefit corner

Start of the mid-year gift sales season "New Tax Merit Corner". Daimaru Tokyo store and Matsuzakaya Ueno store, leading the major department stores, held a mid-year gift preview early on the 8th, starting this year's mid-year gift sales season. Matsuzakaya's main features included a "New Tax Merit Corner" featuring high-end liquor, precious metals, watches, handbags, and golf equipment, whose prices have been reduced by the abolition of excise taxes effective April 1, and an "Overseas Gourmet Gift Corner" featuring a selection of foreign delicacies.
