JAL to enter international LCC business on a full scale
May 14, 2018, Tokyo, Japan - Japan Airlines (JAL) president Yuji Akasaka announces the company will enter the low cost carrier (LCC) business for the international market at the company's headquarters in Tokyo on Monday, May 14, 2018. JAL has plan to start the LCC service at the international routes with medium to long-haul flights from Narita international airport using Boeing 787 aircrafts in 2020.
