Japanese Rice Planting Ceremony
JUNE 3, 2018 - A man walks next to a rice field during Yuki Saiden O-taue Matsuri, a rice planting ceremony and festival in Okazaki, Japan.
The festival takes place at a special rice field for Shinto dieties called a saiden. Similar events are held during the rice planting season throughout Japan.
