October 21, 2009, Makuhari, Tokyo - The i-Real, Toyota's new mobility concept personal transport, is demonstrated at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show in Makuhari, east of Tokyo, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Using three wheels - two in front and one back - the seat moves from an upright position to a lying down one depending on the speed. In low-speed mode, the wheelbase shortens to maneuver naturally among pedestrians at similar eyesite height and in high-speed mode, the wheelbase lengthens to provide a lower center of gravity and better driving performance.
