Abercrombie & Fitch finally lands in Japan
Flagship store opens in Ginza, Tokyo
December 14, 2009, Tokyo, Japan - Classic American retailer Abercrombie & Fitch tease the Japanese public with male models a day before the opening of their flagship branch in Tokyo's swanky Ginza shopping district. It is their first expansion into Asia. The models could be heard saying "What's going on?" as curious Japanese and tourists familiar with the brand ogled the handsome gentlemen. Male models have been standing in front of the shop from 1030am to 1630pm for days leading up to the opening. Abercrombie & Fitch are the latest addition to Tokyo's fashion scene following the likes of Forever21, Opening Ceremony, and Hennes & Mauritz, otherwise known as H&M. (Photo by AFLO) [1090]
