Sweetness of natural ice
Natural ice is cut early in the morning from a pond at the foot of Hodo Mountain in Nagatoro, Saitama. This is the traditional method used by Azaami Reizo, an ice warehouse established in 1891. It has a unique sweetness and is sold mainly as shaved ice.
