North Korean workers and South Korean workers during their unification soccer match in Seoul

Inter-Korean workers' soccer match, Aug 11, 2018 : North Korean workers (in red uniform) and South Korean workers greet each other before their inter-Korean friendly soccer match at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. North Korean workers from the General Federation of Trade Unions of (North) Korea and South Korean workers from two umbrella labor unions, the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) and the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), participated in the Inter-Korean Laborers' Unification Soccer Competition on Saturday. The soccer match is the fourth of its kind, following ones in Pyongyang in 1999, the southern South Korean city of Changwon in 2007 and Pyongyang in 2015. The soccer match marks the first inter-Korean private exchange event since South Korean President Moon Jae-In held the historic summit on April 27 with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un at Panmunjom.
