South Korea's Supreme Court in Seoul orders a Japanese company to provide compensation for wartime forced labor

The Supreme Court ordered Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp. (NSSM) to pay each victim 100 million won (US$87,720) in compensation, local media reported.
