The Provisional Capital Memorial Hall, Nov 14, 2018 : The Provisional Capital Memorial Hall is seen in Busan, about 420 km (261 miles) southeast of Seoul, South Korea. The building was a presidential office and residence of then South Korean President Syngman Rhee in the provisional capital of Busan during the 1950-53 Korean War. The Japanese style building was built in 1926 and was the official residence of then Japanese governor Wada Jun during Japan's colonization of the Korean Peninsula (1910-1945).
