Robot witnesses a wedding Witness Representative I-Fairy
May 16, 2010, Tokyo, Japan - I-Fairy, a 1.5-meter-tall robot with flashing eyes and plastic pigtails, conducts a wedding ceremony for Tomohiro Shibata, 42, a professor of robotics at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in central Japan, and his bride Satoko Inouye, 35, at Tokyo's Hibiya Park on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Sunday's wedding was the first time a marriage was led by a robot, according to manufacturer Kokoro Co., where the bride works.
