The Rebuilding Korea Party led by Cho Kuk calls for investigations into allegations surrounding first lady Kim Keon-Hee in Seoul

Cho demanded prosecutors to immediately summon President Yoon Suk-Yeol's wife, Kim Keon-Hee to investigate allegations surrounding her. First lady Kim Keon-Hee has been accused of involvement in manipulating the stock prices of Deutsch Motors Inc., a BMW car dealer in South Korea, between 2009 and 2012. Kim came under fire for receiving a luxury Dior handbag from a pastor in 2022. The Rebuilding Korea Party led by Cho Kuk secured 12 proportional seats in April 10 parliamentary elections with a campaign pledge to put an early end to the conservative Yoon Suk-Yeol's government.
